It is December and I thought I would add this article to my website to remind Christians that now is the perfect time to send a gospel oriented Christmas card to everyone you truly care about.
2 Corinthians 6:2 - "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."
I suggest a scripture oriented Christmas card instead of a generic holiday card with a pretty snow scene.
Over the years the Christians in the U.S.A. have been encouraged to be "very quiet" about their religion, especially at Christmas because we might "offend" an atheist or someone else.
However, one day when you stand before Jesus in heaven will you be able to truthfully say that you acknowledged Him before others so that He can acknowledge you to His Father?
If you are a Christian then Christmas is your one opportunity each year to witness to the ones you love without seriously offending them. I realize that Christmas cards cost money and that the postage is also an expense but this small amount of money is truly a worthwhile investment because it may lead the people you love into an eternal relationship with the one and only Son of the everlasting Father.
