Wars and Riots

Introduction

Helicopter At the beginning of May 2024 there are actual wars and rumors of wars in several places in different parts of the world.

There have also been a number of riots (protests) for a variety of reasons. The most recent rioting violence has been on several college campuses in the USA.

This article will briefly look at some of the potential outcomes of these wars and riots.



Discussion

The two most newsworthy wars in May of 2024 are occurring in Ukraine and in Gaza. Let's very briefly look at what started these two wars.

Whether a person is neutral, for, or against either of these two wars will have a significant impact on that person's opinions about the war.
  1. Neutral: This individual could be a very objective individual who will not form a final opinion one way or the other until some time in the future when the truth can actually be separated from the lies (propaganda). Or the person may simply not care about the wars.
  2. For: This individual has probably reviewed all the information that is currently available and has decided that Russia was forced into the war, and that Israel was forced into the war.
  3. Against: This individual has probably reviewed all the information that is currently available and has decided that Ukraine in an innocent victim, and that Gaza is an innocent victim.
Although a lot of information about these wars is currently circulating on the internet, the source and the objectives of the websites that post this information has an impact on the reliability of that information.

I do not have access to any special information about these two wars. But I suspect that each of the two wars began due to the following events:
  1. Ukraine: The ruling party in Ukraine cut off the power and the water to the Russian speaking people in the eastern part of Ukraine. And NATO was considering adding Ukraine to their membership even though NATO had solemnly promised many years ago that if Russia would vacate Ukraine then Ukraine would never be admitted into NATO. Russia was therefore motivated to help the Russian speaking people that Russia had left behind in Ukraine. Without Russia's help the majority of those people would have died.

  2. Gaza: Gaza has been randomly launching missiles into Israel for many decades. However, Gaza decided to kidnap men, women, children, and little babies and drag them out of Israel and into Gaza. They then made movies of the violent raping of the women, and the beheading of many of the men, children, and babies and then they broadcast those movies into Israel. Israel responded by attacking Gaza.
A person who hates Russia, or a person who hates the Jews, will probably say that the above statements are lies. I was not in Ukraine or in Israel when the above events happened so I do not have any personal knowledge of the truth of the above statements.

However, I do know that the children of Esau have been trying to wipe the children of Israel (Jacob) off the face of the earth for more than 3,000 years. And I know that many people worldwide hate the Jews. But it might be possible that this hatred may be demon inspired (or it may not be demon inspired).

However, I do know that the Holy Bible says the following about the Jews and about the nation of Israel:

Genesis 12:3 - (New International Version)
3 "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;"

Genesis 27:29 - (New International Version)
29 "May those who curse you be cursed and those who bless you be blessed."

Numbers 24:9 - (New International Version)
8 "May those who bless you be blessed and those who curse you be cursed!"

If you believe the Holy Bible, or if you suspect that the Holy Bible might be the Word of God, then you may wish to be very careful about what you say about the Jews and about the nation of Israel.

Riots

Riots (protests) have be going on for thousands of years. Rioting is not new.

However the current riots on college campuses are not peaceful protests. And some of these riots have become violent. And the police have arrested some of the rioters.

I realize that these riots are sometimes started by professionals who have been trained in how to get a riot into motion, and then get the people to act violently, and then silently withdraw and leave the scene of the riot so they will not be associated with anything that happens as a result of the riot.

I do not know if a college student has considered what will happen to his or her career for the rest of his or her life if he or she is arrested and acquires a criminal record. It is not unusual for a company to ask a job applicant if the applicant has ever been arrested. Does a college student believe that companies are anxious to hire a person who is outspoken against the system and who is a troublemaker?

If you have children or grandchildren in school then please take the time to give them a call, or send them a text message, and encourage them to not participate in any type of protest for any reason because it could negatively impact their future careers for the rest of their lives.

Conclusion

If the above wars continue to escalate, then it may not be too long before there are shortages and rationing in the USA and in other parts of the world.

It might be wise if you immediately implemented some strategies that would help your family survive if prices should skyrocket and if you are only legally allowed to buy a very limited number of many critically important necessities.

If you decide to prepare for an uncertain future then only you and your spouse should know what you are doing. If you are able to acquire enough to keep 3 or 4 people alive for a few months, then those resources will be completely consumed in 1 or 2 or 3 weeks if you are forced to share what you have with 5 or 6 or more other families. If you are forced to share with everyone in your neighborhood, or with everyone in your apartment building, then those resources will be gone in 1 or 2 days.

Please remember that God is still in 100% control of everything. And God sometimes allows wars and famine to destroy people and cities and nations. And God sometimes spares specific people and specific families during a war and during a famine. Nobody should ever question God's judgment or His mercy.

For example, God used Joseph (a Jew) to save Joseph's family and the entire nation of Egypt during the seven years of famine. Later, when Egypt was cruel to the Jews, God destroyed the nation of Egypt with the ten plagues. Jesus was a Jew but God allowed Jesus to be crucified to ransom your soul and my soul from hell. During World War II the Nazis murdered over 6 million Jews. But the Germans lost World War II and the German nation suffered badly for many decades after the end of World War II. If you will reflect on these things then you may decide to be very careful about what you say about the Jews because it would be better to be on God's side than on the side of demons.
