The Ultimate Solution

Introduction

At the current time people all over the world are being confronted with the following problems:
    Earth
  1. Censored News: Most of us now have instant news at our fingertips. The problem is that most of us realize that the news that is being reported by the mass media is extremely biased, and some of it is very misleading, and some of it may be fabricated. Therefore even though we have instant news available to us, most of the news is of little practical value (except when a natural disaster strikes such as a hurricane or an earthquake).
  2. Broken Supply Chains: Businesses have been closing on an unprecedented scale for approximately two years. Most of us have seen businesses close in our own communities, including small family business and a few national chains. Therefore we have trouble believing the statistics reported by our governments and by the news media. The combined failure of all these different businesses is impacting supply chains everywhere.
  3. Increasing Prices: The price of everything is increasing, including food at a fast food restaurant. Gasoline and diesel prices are increasing every week. But our income is not increasing. And many of us are now working fewer hours than last year, and many of us have lost our jobs.
  4. Health Challenges: Most of us have family members who have experienced at least one serious illness during the past year, or we ourselves may have been very sick at least once. And some of us have also lost family members to an unexpected health problem that appeared suddenly and killed the person without any advance warning. And now we are being told by our government leaders that we can expect a significant increase in blood-clotting health related medical problems for the rest of our lives. (Note: This is not medical advice. Please consult a licensed medical practitioner to have your medical questions answered. However, may I humbly suggest that you do a little research into the health benefits of taking one 81 mg enteric-coated aspirin per day. Aspirin has the ability to thin blood and to prevent harmful blood clots, and it also has an impressive list of other health benefits. All this information is available on the internet if you can find the websites that are impartial in their reporting and that are not biased against aspirin. My father, Jason Lester Atkins, took one 81 mg aspirin every day for about 40 years. He was in a retirement home for about 10 years before he died at the age of 93 and he discovered that most of the people that he knew personally in the home (more than 100 people) also took one 81 mg enteric-coated aspirin every day in addition to their prescription medications. The exceptions were people who were taking a special blood thinner or anti-blood clotting prescription medicine and their doctor told them that they should avoid aspirin. The people who were taking one 81 mg enteric-coated aspirin every day were in their 80s and early 90s.)
  5. Increasing Crime: Regardless of where you live, you are probably hearing about new crimes that are being committed every day in your community.
  6. Increased Chance of a Global War: Governments all over the world are having serious problems because they have mismanaged their countries for many decades and they are afraid that a public uprising could happen at any time and the mob will kill them and their entire families. Therefore most of the governments of the world would secretly welcome a global war, if another nation will just start that war. The reason is because a war will take everyone's mind off the other problems they are having. And governments can blame the results of all of their previous bad management decisions on the war and this will take the spotlight off our government leaders.
People everywhere are doing their best to figure out ways to deal with the above problems.

The purpose of this article is to shed a little light on a possible solution that may help you survive if the above problems continue to escalate and they quickly get out-of-control.

Discussion

A variety of different people are trying to determine the reasons for the above problems. This is sometimes referred to as "root cause analysis." There may be dozens of contributing factors to a specific problem but most of those contributing factors have a 1% or less impact on the primary problem. Root cause analysis tries to identify the one or two really significant factors that are the primary causes of a specific problem and which are causing 70% or more of the primary problem. If these really important factors can be clearly identified then corrective action can be taken on those factors and the original primary problem can be resolved, or brought under control, because only the trivial contributing factors will still remain.

If the primary root cause is not correctly identified then a lot of time and money can be invested on corrective actions that may have no noticeable impact on solving the original primary problem.

For example, if our car will not start then we may invest a lot of time and money replacing a variety of different parts, such as buying a new battery, and a new alternator, and a new starter, and the car may still refuse to start. Then it occurs to us to look at our gas gauge and we discover our car is completely out of gas. This would be an example of not correctly identifying the true root cause before we began trying to fix the problem using a trial-and-error strategy.

The above example was a very simple illustration. However, the problems we are experiencing worldwide are not simple problems. The problems are extremely complex and they have a multitude of contributing factors.

The problems we have today are as challenging as the problems we had in the 20th century. And the problems of the 20th century were as challenging as the problems of the 19th century. The complexity of the problems has increased but the same basic problems that we have in the 21st century were significant problems in the 20th century and in the 19th century. For example:

Type of Problem19th Century (1800-1899)20th Century (1900-1999)21st Century (2000-2022)
War =Civil War (USA)World Wars I and IIStart of World War III (?)
Plague =Cholera & Influenza (2 million +)Spanish Flu (17 to 100 million ?)Covid 19 (6 to 23 million ?)
Inflation =Gold: $19.75 to $20.67Gold: 20.67 to $279Gold: $279 to $1,923 (March 1, 2022)
Worldwide Famine =More than 130 million diedMore than 145 million diedOngoing Starvation Globally
World Population =Year 1800 = 1 billionYear 1900 = 1.6 billionYear 2000 = 6.1 billion

As I have already mentioned, the above problems are not unique to the 21st century. There have always been wars, and plagues, and famines, and inflation. And the worldwide population has increased every 100 years. And every 10 years our scientists have told us that the current agricultural output of the entire world cannot feed the number of people that currently exists. But somehow it does and the world population continues to increase.

An additional complication is that the above problems are all inter-related and they do not exist in isolation by themselves. The shear complexity of the combined impact of all these problems make it extremely difficult for any reasonable solution to have any noticeable impact on reducing the magnitude of these problems. Therefore the problems are continuing to get worse. And sooner or later there will be a "worldwide meltdown" and the world economy will collapse and we will all have to fend for ourselves.

I suspect a "worldwide meltdown" will happen because of human desires for wealth, or power, or money, or sex, or an extravagant lifestyle, or sadism. Some people are evil and they enjoy making other people suffer more than they enjoy anything else. It is unfortunate but some of these evil people pretend to be righteous and they are able to obtain leadership positions in businesses, churches, and governments. These people intentionally sabotage whatever they can in order to increase or prolong human suffering. These people are one of the reasons that I believe that a "worldwide meltdown" will occur in the not too distant future because these people will intentionally and secretly sabotage any reasonable solution that may have the potential to help solve one or more of the problems we are now facing.

Some people believe that a "worldwide meltdown" will never happen and that mankind will figure out a way to keep everything working -- but things may work at a reduced level of efficiency. These people may be right. I don't know how the future will unfold and I have always been quick to own up to that fact.

However, I am able to look back on the past just like everyone else. And I think it is possible to learn some lessons from our ancestors if we will just take the time to consider how some of our ancestors survived the problems they faced when they were alive.

Some of our ancestors were able to survive extremely challenging periods of human history. But some our ancestors didn't survive. Perhaps we can learn something of practical value from our ancestors who did survive the problems of their day.

The first step towards a solution to our many problems is to acknowledge the following:
  1. The above problems are extremely complex.
  2. Each problem is caused by a multitude of inter-related factors.
  3. Some factors are causing more than one major problem.
If a person can accept the above three statements, then that person will probably realize that the problems our world are now facing will not be solved without a "meltdown" of our worldwide economic and social systems. However, this is a horrible thing to think about and most people will remain in denial about this horrible solution even though they may intellectually agree with the above three statements.

If a person suspects that a "worldwide meltdown" may happen in the not to distant future then that person has several options:
  1. Do nothing because they believe that their government will save them. If the government doesn't do what they expect then these people may resort to mob violence to get what they believe they deserve, and if this happens then they will make the meltdown even worse.
  2. Do nothing because they believe that their family or friends will save them. These people are going to receive a serious shock when they discover that their family and friends do not have enough resources to share with them.
  3. Prepare for the meltdown to the best of their ability. Some people have extremely limited resources, or they have family issues, and they cannot implement this option even they may believe it is the best option.
  4. After the meltdown begins then become a thief and a murderer and steal what they need to survive. Due to the deterioration of morals worldwide, a significant number of people will probably adopt this strategy. Fortunately these people will probably kill one another off because there will be so many of them and there will not be enough resources to satisfy them all.
  5. Accept the inevitable and hope that they die quickly and painlessly after the meltdown begins. However, unless there is a nuclear attack, these people may die a very slow and painful death due to starvation and disease.

Conclusion

The title of this article is "The Ultimate Solution." In my opinion a "worldwide meltdown" is the only long-term solution to all the problems our world is currently facing. However, in my opinion a "worldwide meltdown" is not the "Ultimate Solution." Instead the meltdown will happen because our leaders will not be able to solve all the problems we are currently facing.

But there is an "Ultimate Solution" that could be of significant benefit to a few people who are smart enough to see it for what it is. However, most of the really intelligent people of the world will never be able to see it.

The "Ultimate Solution" is God Almighty. He has always been in 100% control of everything, and He is in 100% control of everything today, and He will continue to be in 100% control of everything for all eternity. Most people can't see this because they are trying to understand things from a human perspective and they can't understand how an all-powerful God could allow some things to happen. And if an all-powerful God does allow unpleasant things to happen then they do not want to be a part of His Eternal Plan.

Many people today are probably in one of the following four broad categories of people:
  1. They have a well-stocked retreat and they believe that nothing and no one can upset their survival plans.
  2. They have a well-stocked retreat but they also believe that God will protect them and guide them as God sees fit.
  3. They have no emergency food and they intend to steal what they need when it becomes necessary.
  4. They have no emergency food and they can't afford any, and they are willing to accept God's will for their lives whatever that may be.
Some of our ancestors firmly believed in God and they believed He was in control of everything even though they didn't understand why a lot of things happened the way they happened. But some of our ancestors refused to believe in God for any reason that appealed to them. When a person doesn't want to do something, or doesn't want to believe something, then any reason will do regardless of what that reason may be.

Jesus Christ The Holy Bible tells us that God allows bad things to happen because He loves us and He wants us to come to our senses before we die so that we will accept the eternal forgiveness that he offers everyone who believes in His Only Son Jesus. Everyone who accepts Jesus as Savior will spend eternity with Jesus in heaven. Unfortunately, everyone who decides they don't need Jesus will spend eternity in hell.

Eternity is forever. Our earthly lives are of a trivial duration compared to forever. God sometimes uses tragic events to get us to stop what we are doing so that we will invest some of our time thinking about eternity. Most of us think briefly about eternity at a funeral but 5 minutes after the funeral is over we return to our normal way of living and thinking.

Accepting Jesus as Savior will not prevent us from having problems, and it will not prevent us from eventually dying one day. But it will make a difference in where we spend eternity and this is God's Ultimate Solution that He is offering to everyone who will accept it.

There will be no problems, or pain, or sickness, or death in heaven. Everyone in heaven will be pleased to do what God asks them to do and to love God and to love everyone in heaven. There will be a few extremely intelligent people in heaven but there will be no independent thinkers in heaven who believe that they have the right to make their own rules about what is right and what is wrong. Satan tried this and Satan was cast out of heaven with the wicked angels who followed his lead. Today Satan roams the earth deceiving anyone who will believe one of his millions of lies. The Holy Bible tells us that God created hell for Satan and the wicked angels (demons) and that one day Satan and all the wicked angels will be judged and they will be cast into hell where they will suffer in extreme agony for all eternity.

Whose lead are you following today? Are you following Jesus on the one and only path that leads to heaven? Or are you following one of the millions of different paths that lead to hell?

May God Bless,
Grandpappy.
