The Gulf War Syndrome

Gulf War Soldiers Approximately 36% of the military veterans of the 1990-1991 Gulf War experienced significant ongoing medical problems after they were discharged from active duty and they returned home to the USA. Approximately 3% of these deployed veterans died a premature death after being discharged from the military. Military veterans who were not deployed during this same time period did not report the significant medical problems as the veterans who were deployed. This suggests that something related to the deployment of these veterans was the cause of their medical problems. These medical problems continued to plague these deployed veterans for more than twenty years after they were discharged from active duty. Then they were forgotten by the media and by the public and information on their current status is simply not available.

The following different reasons have been proposed as being contributing factors to the significant medical problems of the deployed veterans:
  1. Exposure to oil well fire emissions that were common during the Gulf War.
  2. Exposure to pesticides that were used during the Gulf War.
  3. Pills that were given to the veterans to help protect them from nerve gases.
  4. Multiple vaccinations that were administered to the veterans for a variety of reasons.
The vaccines that were used during the Gulf War were approved by the FDA but the vaccines were not tested using the same types of clinical trails required for other vaccines. One study revealed that deployed veterans who received the vaccines had higher rates of ongoing serious medical problems compared to non-deployed veterans who did not receive the vaccines.

Thirty years have passed since the end of the Gulf War and many people today have never heard about the Gulf War Syndrome or they have simply forgotten about it.

But the deployed veterans who suffered the devastating long-term effects of the Gulf War syndrome, and their families, have not forgotten. This is one of the reasons that some people who are currently in the military are opposed to the CV-19 vaccine.

The current CV-19 vaccines have been approved by the FDA but they have not been tested using the rigorous clinical trials required for other vaccines. And different medical professionals who have carefully reviewed all the information available to them on the different CV-19 vaccines that are made by the different vaccine manufacturers have reached totally different conclusions about which vaccine is best and which vaccines should be avoided.

As of September 1, 2021 there is very limited information available to the public on how many people who have been fully vaccinated have been hospitalized with CV-19 (estimates are over 100,000), and there is only limited information available on how many of these fully vaccinated people have died due to CV-19 (estimates are over 1,000).

The information that is currently available to the public is of little practical value to someone who wishes to know the truth about the "benefits" and the long-term "risks" of the CV-19 vaccine.
At this time the potential "benefits" are widely publicized but they are not backed by scientific research data.
And the silence about the potential long-term "risks" is deafening.

Respectfully,
Grandpappy.
