Distractions, Changes, War, and
the Decade of the 2020s

Many significant changes will probably occur during the decade of the 2020s for a variety of reasons.

DISTRACTIONS: The changes that may happen during the 2020s may take many of us by surprise because we are focusing our thoughts on a variety of different distractions. Although each of the following distractions is a very important issue, each distraction is only one of the many catalysts for future changes and the distraction itself is not as important as the change that it will precipitate.
  1. CV-19 Virus: The original virus is mutating and it is gradually changing into a variety of different but related viruses. This makes the virus difficult to analyze and to treat. The virus is infecting more and more people every day and the virus is killing more and more people every day. Some people simply ignore the risk. And some people believe that "God will protect them if it is His will." However, the Holy Bible says that we should not put God to the test (Deuteronomy 6:16, Matthew 4:7, Luke 4:12). (Note: My niece and several other choir members became infected with the CV-19 virus during a choir rehearsal at their church. My niece was fortunate because after 14 days of a very painful hospital stay she gradually recovered. Unfortunately eleven of the other choir members from her church died as a result of CV-19).
  2. Riots: The racial riots in the USA are not improving the long-term well-being of the rioters. The end result of these riots will probably have unpredictable consequences for many years to come.
  3. Business Bankruptcies: Many businesses have already closed their doors forever. More businesses will continue to fail as time passes. This is changing the way that people are acquiring the things they need.
  4. Employment: A lot of people have been temporarily or permanently laid off. The unemployment benefits that these individuals currently receive will expire in the not too distant future. When that happens these people will either need to find new jobs or they will need to apply for welfare benefits.
  5. Evictions: Without some form of regular income more and more people are going to be legally evicted from their homes. These people will either become part of the homeless population or they will share a home with one of their close family members.
  6. Media Propaganda and Lies: The mass media is almost 100% biased in its agenda and the mass media is not objectively reporting the news. Some critical news events are being completely ignored by the media while other trivial issues are being focused on. And some issues are being intentionally fabricated and they are being reported as if they were facts. It is becoming very difficult for an average person to learn anything of true value from the mass media news stories.
  7. Elections: The upcoming political elections in the USA in the fall of the year 2020 will determine the future of the USA for many decades into the future.
CHANGES: The above issues will probably result in significant changes in all the following areas:
  1. Manufacturing: Depending on which political party wins the elections this fall, manufacturing may once again be done in the USA in addition to a variety of foreign countries. This would allow the USA to become less dependent on other nations and to have more control and flexibility in what is made in the USA. This would also provide good jobs for many people who have lost their previous jobs for one reason or another.
  2. Medicine: Depending on which political party wins the elections this fall, prescription drugs and other medicines may once again be made in the USA. This would be great because we would have better control of the quality and the quantity of these critical medications. This would also provide good jobs for many people who have lost their previous jobs for one reason or another.
  3. Inflation: Regardless of which political party wins the elections this fall, inflation is probably going to increase significantly in the years ahead. If a person is expecting this to happen then that person can more strategically plan how they are going to use whatever money they have available.
  4. Money: Regardless of which political party wins the elections this fall, paper money may gradually become a thing of the past and it may become impossible to buy anything with "cash." Debit cards and credit cards may be required for all purchases and for all payments for services. This means that a "digital trail" will be left for all transfers of money and it will no longer be possible to prevent anyone (governments, hackers, or thieves) from knowing exactly how much money you have and exactly what you are spending your money on.
  5. Investments: Regardless of which political party wins the elections this fall, the relative value of many investments will probably change significantly. Anyone who owns property or a home in a "safe" area may witness an increase in the value of their property. Anyone who has money invested in the stock market may experience a loss in the value of their "paper" investment. Stock prices are no longer based on the true value of a stock, such as its "price-earnings ratio" or its "dividend yield." Instead stock prices are based on being able to find another investor who is willing to pay more for your stock than you paid for it. In the past gold and silver were usually good investments but it is not possible to predict what will happen to the "true" value of precious metals in the future.
WAR: The decade of the 2020s will probably be one of "undeclared war" among many nations worldwide.
  1. Military: There will probably not be any direct military engagements except perhaps in a few isolated areas.
  2. Economics: Economic war will be the norm. Nations will attempt to destroy each other through economic processes.
  3. Food: Starvation is also a very effective method for bringing the people within a nation to their knees.
  4. Civil War: Civil warfare within a nation (race, religion, national origin) is also a very effective way of destroying a nation by encouraging the people who live inside that nation to kill one another.
  5. Epidemics: Chemical warfare (pandemics) will also probably be used because it is almost impossible to prove that a disease was intentionally released by a specific nation. (Note: If the "official CV-19 statistics" that are reported by other nations are correct then it would appear that the USA has a more serious CV-19 problem than any other nation even though the USA has higher sanitary standards, higher health standards, and better living conditions than most other nations. Could our high CV-19 problem be due to an "intentional pre-planned release" of a significant amount of the CV-19 virus in many different areas simultaneously all over the USA?)
The primary objective of an "undeclared war" is to kill as many people in other nations as possible without seriously damaging the infrastructures of those nations so that the winning nations can take control of the existing resources of the defeated nations.

The above comments are simply my perspective of what may happen in the decade of the 2020s. A few of my observations may be correct but I seriously doubt if all of my observations will unfold in the way that they are discussed above. I am not able to predict the future but neither is anyone else.

Respectfully,
Grandpappy.
