Introduction

Red Ant An ant is a very small insect. There are different sizes and colors of ants. There are over 10,000 different kinds of ants and they live almost everywhere on the surface of the earth. The average life expectancy of an ant varies from 45 to 60 days.

An elephant is a very large mammal. There are three different types of elephants and they live in Africa and Asia. The life expectancy of an elephant is about 70 years.

Discussion

The body of an ant is really, really small. The average ant weighs about 5 milligrams. Ants are very, very weak compared to larger creatures. Ants can see, and eat, and digest their food, and expel the waste products. Ants reproduce, live, and die. All of these different functions take place in perfect harmony inside a very small body.

Elephant The body of an elephant is really, really big. The average elephant weighs about 10,000 pounds. Elephants are very, very strong. Elephants can see, and eat, and digest their food, and expel the waste products. Elephants reproduce, live, and die. All of these different functions take place in perfect harmony inside a very big body.

Except in a science or biology class, have you ever stopped to think about the internal complexity of a living organism?

Have you ever objectively considered the various theories of how the millions of different living organisms became inhabitants of this planet? Or have you simply accepted a theory that sounded okay to you because other people believed it, and it was a theory that you personally wanted to believe?

Many people want to know the truth about the things that they have the intellectual capacity to understand. But some people really don't want to know the truth because it would interfere with the way they want to live their lives.

Conclusion

Ants, elephants, and people reproduce, live, and die.

There is no life after death for ants and elephants.

Is there life after death for people? Would the truth about life after death be important to your eternal destiny?

King David made the following observation during one of his moments of deep thought:

Psalm 8:3-4 NIV
3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?

May God Bless,
