Note 2: This storybook contains 42 stories and 156 full color pictures. There are two reasons for the huge number of pictures:
1. Children today expect their storybooks to be illustrated with beautiful color pictures.
2. Pictures help children to better understand and remember what happened in the story, and hopefully they will also remember the moral of the story.
The 156 full color pictures are the reason the normal retail price of this storybook is $16.95 because books with color pictures cost a lot more to print than books without color pictures.

Book Description on Amazon.com

This book contains a collection of stories that I made up and told to my children and my grandchildren over a period of more than 40 years. Some of the stories are less than one page long and some of the stories are eight pages long.

All the stories in this book are 100% fictional. The stories are about a variety of people and animals that I created using my own imagination. None of the people, characters, or animals mentioned in this book are real and every story is simply make believe or pretend.

Some of the stories are about normal people but some stories include imaginary characters such as elves, fairies, orcs, and imps. Some stories are about knights and some are about farmers. Some stories include talking animals. Some stories include witches, giants, ghosts, magicians, dragons, and sea monsters. Some stories do include some fighting and death. This is necessary for the stories to be interesting because if the plots and the endings of the stories become too predictable then they will also become boring.

The stories happen in a variety of different countries all around the world including Africa, Australia, Canada, China, Egypt, England, Europe, France, Holland, Ireland, Mexico, Mongolia, Persia, Russia, Scandinavia, South America, Switzerland, Tibet, and the United States of America.

Some stories are about events that occurred in the far distant past, some are about things that happen in today’s modern world, and some are about things that will not happen until one day in the far distant future.

All of the plots and characters in my stories are the products of my own imagination and none of them are based on anything that I have personally seen or observed.

All of my fictional stories have a moral at the end of the story. The reason is because I believe that a fictional story that is written and told to children should not only be entertaining but it should also teach a life principle that could help a child live a happier and more successful life.

Respectfully,
Robert Wayne Atkins, P.E. (Grandpappy)
