Can You Imagine?

The Planet Earth Planet of Fire A Future Earth
Can you imagine what it would have been like
if you could have stood beside the angels and watched
as God originally created the heavens and the earth and then later
watched as Satan was cast out of heaven and to the earth he fell?

Can you imagine what it will be like
when God appears on His Throne and the earth and
the sky vanish into the nothing from which they were made
and Satan and all his followers are cast into an eternal hell?

Can you imagine how all Christians will feel
when we stand beside the angels and watch
as God creates a new heaven and a new earth
and there in the presence of God we forevermore dwell?

Creation of the Heavens and the Earth:

Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:3 - And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
Genesis 1:6 - And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water."
Genesis 1:9 - And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so.
Genesis 1:11 - Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.
Genesis 1:14-15 - And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so.
Genesis 1:20 - And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky."
Genesis 1:24 - And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so.
Genesis 1:26 - Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
Genesis 1:31 - God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning -- the sixth day.

Satan Cast Down to the Earth:

Isaiah 14:12-15 - How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!
You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High."
But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit.

The New Heaven and the New Earth:

Revelation 20:11-15 - Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:1-5 - Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
